Photographer Michael Jones has been hired by G+G Advertising, a native owned agency, to take photographs for the US Census Bureau’s ad campaign to promote and encourage American Indian participation in the 2020 Census. The photo shoot will take place mid-November. We need to cast people for two ads: Mother and baby (carried in a cradleboard for the photo.) Woman should be own or have access to regalia and cradleboard. Dad and young child (ages 3-4, old enough to be in a swing.) If you are interested in entering the casting to possibly be selected for the photo shoot, please send a photo of youself and your child, waist up, showing your faces clearly. (Phone photos are fine.) Email the photos and your contact information (Name, Address, Home or Cell Phone & Days/Times you are available) by October 20th, to: cindy@michaeljonesphotostudio.com. Please reference: “Michigan ADS” in your email subject. We will contact you if you are selected and prior to the photo shoot you will be required to give permission to the US Census Bureau to conduct a background check and review your social media activity. We will then arrange the day and time for the photo shoot in mid-November. You also will be required to sign a release allowing the US Census Bureau to use your image, and a check for $1500 for you and your child, will be given to you upon completion of the photo shoot.
