Icehouse & Fish Cleaning Building
Project Overview:
The Keweenaw Bay Indian Community (KBIC) is seeking bids for the construction of an icehouse & fish-cleaning building as per the attached specifications. This facility will be located on Light House Rd., Baraga, MI 49908 near Buck’s Marina.
Submission Deadline: Friday, October 20, 2023 at 4:30 pm
Instructions for Bidders:
Please submit bids by email to michaell@kbic-nsn.gov with the subject line “Icehouse & Fish Cleaning Building Bid.” Bids should be received by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023, to be considered. All work must be completed during the 2024 fiscal year (October 1, 2023 – September 30, 2024). If you have any questions, please contact me at (906) 201-7814 or by email at michaell@kbic-nsn.gov.
Scope of Work:
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Foundation construction
- Structural erection
- Plumbing and electrical installation
- Interior and exterior finishing
- Equipment installation may be necessary
NOTE: some site prep work will be completed prior to the start of contracted work
Bid Requirements:
- Bidders must have relevant experience in similar construction projects
- Bidders must provide references for similar projects completed upon request
- Bidders must include a detailed breakdown of costs, including labor, materials, and subcontractor fees
